CareManagement, the official journal of the Academy of Certified Case Managers celebrated its 17th anniversary with the publication of its April/May 2012 issue. During the intervening years, we’ve seen many changes in our healthcare delivery system, the practice of case management, and in the publishing industry. The advent of the Internet and the accelerating growth of our digital world has changed the face of communications creating immediacy and the ability to research virtually any topic from the comfort of our homes, offices, or neighborhood coffee shop.

In keeping with our changing times, effective with the June/July 2012 issue of CareManagement, the Academy of Certified Case Managers will publish its journal in digital format only. Click here to view the current issue. You can read the issue, download and save it to your computer, and/or print it for your personal use. And, you can forward it to a colleague. As we move forward in this new format, we will incorporate live links into articles to enhance the digital experience.

You can now take the CE exams online and receive your Certificate of Completion immediately. Exams can also be mailed, but processing time will be 4 to 6 weeks. As an additional bonus, CE exams will now carry a one-year expiration date rather than the usual 90 days.

And, importantly, we will not need to raise dues to cover the spiraling costs of print production and postage.
